Up to $0.25 reward to anyone who can find the coin (dead or alive) in my son's digestive track. Boy must be kept safe from harm and remain in full health and delivered intact to his place of residence upon completion of this mission.
The facts are unclear as to what type of coin was swallowed but the prospect exists that it may be even as much as a whole quarter. Whatever price is dwelling in his stomach, that amount will be all yours when you find the hidden treasure.
Any and all advice is appreciated as to information leading to the coin and the best possible approach of action to be taken in eliminating the coin from the boy's body.
Please respond swiftly as high interest is shown in the collection of this reward.

You could always have him swallow one of those big magnets! Seriously being the good friend I am I did some research and as long as the child seems no worse for wear and it isn't as big as a quarter (Mind you I can't see Landon managing to swallow something that big without being a bit worse for wear) You needn't be worried. It should pass naturally.
PS. I expect more than $0.25 for my effort!
Thanks Jessica. :) I too did research before I posted this... didn't want to subject myself to critical eyes without first knowing all the ins and outs, you know! Most people get paranoid about this and rush their kid to the hospital at the first sign of the coin disappearing. Only to be told to wait a few days and see if and when it passes.
If you put the effort towards getting that quarter (at the MOST, mind you) back from Landon, I'll offer you free room and board and meals too of course. Other than that, the value of the coin is the most that you'll get for payment. :)
PS. We could have tea and scones together too, I guess. You do know what scones are, right? :)
I was doing even more research which I will copy below. If this is what it takes to collect the reward I think I'll forgo it altogether!
# Check bowel movements
Normally bowel movements do not need to be checked for small, smooth objects. However, when the object is sharp, long (more than 1 inch), or valuable, collect your child's bowel movements in a diaper or on newspapers. Cut the bowel movements up with a knife or strain them through a piece of screen until you find the object.
Hi, Courtney, this is Pat V.E.
One time Matt swallowed a nickel and we watched and watched for it. We never discovered it, so I think it would be unfair to say that "Matthew isn't worth a nickel." He's possibly worth at least that. David's oldest daughter, Bailey, swallowed a quarter and I believe they took her to ER to dislodge it. It was put into a scrapbook by Desiree. I don't know how much it cost to retrieve it. Hope your problem gets solved. Pat
i think the bank will open up again in a few days and like auto deposits there should be an auto withdrawal
if there is a problem then check with the fdic fora full refund of your insured funds

Haha, Fred you have me laughing out loud :D.
Thanks for the comment Pat. That is interesting you never found that missing nickle. Did you ever do an x-ray? I'll have to ask Sarah about that. I'm hoping that Landon won't have to have done what Bailey did... that sounds awful.
And Fred... if only an auto withdrawal was in town! Hey, if you could invent such a machine (for such tasks), I'll pay you whatever amount comes out. And maybe even buy your house on top of that. :)
Thanks for the comments everyone. Oh, and just be glad you're not here right now Britt. :) Not that I'd share this job with you but... well, you know.
Oh and Jessica, like I already told you, I have a rather similar method that's been pretty effective. Let me know when you want more details.
there is a machine that is at most wal-marts
it comes with a long tube that when used to start the machine will start a fast and full movement
the funds should be flowing in mins.

by the by, buy my house
one final note: use of a auto ATM tool should only be tryed by a trained professional and should not be tried at home
ps hope i have not taken this to far haha

You're definitely thinking along some postitive, result producing lines, Fred. Keep the ideas coming--you haven't gone too far yet! Oh, and are you this trained professional that you speak of? :)
