Reader Input

Is the font too small? (if it is, tell me how I can change it in my template)

Does it bug you the same way it does me that you can't see commenter's user pictures? (if it does, tell me how I can change that in my template too)

Is there anything else you think should be different? (if there is, then tell me so I can change it in my template)

Overall, I like this template a lot but I wish I could change these few things. I've tried a ton of things but nothing is working.... The simpler template I had was a little more change-friendly and I had great aspirations to do wonders to it. Of course, we all know that didn't happen.

Let me know what you think and I'll try a few things maybe. If you give me some ideas.

Okay, fixed ONE thing... I did a simple thing and clicked "large" for font size instead of "normal." That helped the font. Now for the userpics... sigh.

Just noticed that if you "post a comment," you'll see everyone's userpics. Why can't those show when you simply read the comments and aren't commenting yourself???

Okay, here's Miss Template Tech Support to share one of her secrets...

To make your font
the size you want (getting rather poetic here...) ;)
find this in your template:

/* Page Structure
----------------------------------------------- */

(should be pretty close to the top)
Somewhere in there should be this:

#main {

and listed under that will be your font information... what mine looks like:

font-family:Georgia;
font-size:100%;

You can make your font bigger by adding more quantity to what ever your percentage is set at.

If you can't find that in your template, try copying and pasting the above code into something like this:

body {
background:#fff;
margin:0;
padding:40px 20px;
font:x-small Georgia,Serif;
text-align:center;
color:#333;
font-size/* */:/**/small;
font-size: /**/small;

That should work, however I recommend saving your template to your hard drive first so that my ideas don't forever ruin your blog.

You can always cunsult the blogger help too to find out how I do it all wrong. Sigh.

I actually like the way your comment thing is set up and was trying to do that on my site. I personally think it looks more professional or something. Apparently the template I have doesn't give me that option.

I like your template here. Very cute and very you! It's also easy to read even if your font is small, so I don't think it's that big of a deal.

Thanks Britt. I'll have to try what you recommended with the font. Although I will inform you already that this template doesn't have the font listed with a percentage. I knew enough about blogs to at least try something like that but I couldn't find it. I'll maybe look into something else.

If you like the no userpic feature, than I like it too. So that takes care of that. (Wow, that was easy. Now I just need someone to tell me my font is huge and I'll forget about that too.)

Thanks again. It's so nice to have a blonde sister who is smarter than a brunette like me. :)
