A Housewife in Training

I came into the kitchen (a couple weeks ago- notice no snow out the window) and found a busy little bee...

Wow, I didn't think it was this big of a job. It's a good thing dishwashers are easy to reach for short people.
Even if you do have to stand on the door to reach the cups.

A far cry from my training in the 50"s when a chair was pushed up to the sink and you either had the dish cloth or dish towel in hand. That method has stood me in good stead all these years. Without it I would have a house full, basement and attic full of dirty dishes. If I could rummage up that many. Otherwise, I would be gone from botulism or e-coli. I just love your blogs.

By the way--I don't still stand on a chair.

First time visitor - Hello! :o)

So cute! I have a little girl who just turned 1 - she is already fascinated with "helping" me close the door on the dishwasher (no matter if I am trying to load it ;) ).

Sure hope the dishwasher door can tolerate the extra weight. Wonderful to have a good helper.

Pat... LOL about the chair. :)

Jean... yes, the door actually does seem to hold her weight but we try to not let this happen very often at all. :)

Borntrager Singer... no I didn't make the dress; I just added an extra ruffle at the bottom and coordinating trim at the waist. It made the dress last a little bit longer. :)

Thanks for the comments everyone!
